From 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., join second generation winemaker, Franck Duboeuf, at the Tribeca Rooftop for a night filled with great wine, food and music. Midnight marks the grand finale, when the first bottles of the 2014 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau will be shared with all.
Tickets may be purchased for $50.00, which includes Georges Duboeuf Cru Beaujolais and Maconnâis wines, and live jazz from Brooklyn-based band, The Bailsmen. French inspired cuisine from Beecher’s Handmade Cheese and the Crepes Food Truck are also available for purchase.
Beaujolais Nouveau Day is an annual celebration to honor the end of harvest and offer the first taste of the new vintage. French law dictates that it can only be released on the third Thursday of November at midnight. Georges Duboeuf, legendary winemaker and the most renowned name in Beaujolais, is responsible for turning this long-standing tradition into a worldwide phenomenon.
