Brooklyn’s first bacon festival, The Great Big Bacon Picnic is back for it’s second year. My fellow bacon lovers get ready to indulge on Saturday, September 24, 2016 and Sunday, September 25, 2016 at The Old Pfizer Factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The weekend long event created by Great Big Food Events LLC and co-founders/brothers Craig and Lon Taylor is an indoor/outdoor gourmet celebration of the most amazing food item ever – BACON!

There will be over 100 chefs, restaurants, food trucks, brew masters, mixologists, and culinary experts from all over NYC will be in attendance. To keep us on our dancing toes, Brooklyn’s own High & Mighty Brass Band who played both Bonnaroo and the Governors Ball, will be on-hand adding their New Orleans/ NYC sounds.

The festivals three different sessions will all feature unlimited tastes of bite-sized bacon dishes, craft beers and specialty cocktails, and…. WAIT FOR IT……..the Great Big Bacon Picnic will have a “Bacon Bar” – YES, a bar supplied only with different varieties of bacon. Whoo hoo!
